London EB Corona Setups
Dear all, can anyone offer insights on whether EBs (Rothschild/Lazard/Evercore) will be supplying incoming analysts with laptops this summer? I have heard some banks have given allowances for equipment (monitors)...
Interns at one of the EBs you mentioned were told that they are going to receive laptops. Would be very surprised if incoming Analysts did not get them too. Not sure about monitors, headsets and other pieces of equipment.
Isn't the summer meant for training of FT Analysts? Do you think that monitors etc. would be necessary?
Summer is meant for training, you’re right, but it’s sadly going to be virtual so having a solid setup is key!
For me Two screens, laptop, keyboard, mouse. I heard other places giving reimbursements though (so you can choose your own setup)
Was that at an EB as a future analyst ?
Do you live in London and do you know what you firm did for internationals moving to LDN (do they have to be in the city during the summer, can they have their set up shipped to another EU country, etc) ?
One of the names mentioned in OP, as a FT. Everyone gets this setup provided (even pre covid). No idea about your other question, seems very unlikely they will require you to be in London (as a lot of the office aren’t there currently)
