London PWP vs. PJT
Hi all,
If you would have offers of both PJT and PWP in London for analyst positions, which one would you choose?
It is difficult for me to differentiate between the two why I would welcome any opinions from you guys.
Many thanks!

Congrats on your offers! Both great firms
I don’t think there’s a substantial difference in terms of exit opps, both will give you more or less the same (quite good actually) shots for PE / HF / Distress funds
I’d choose on the basis of the ppl you liked the most, unless you have a specific interest for Rx where PJT and HL are still a notch above anyone else
Pretty similar in terms of everything. If you are more keen on M&A go with PWP, if you’d like to do RX then PJT. Exit opps, rep, Ray and hours are comparable. Congrats
I have heard anecdotally that PWP has very good exits to b-school.
In the US.
Join either and reapply to goldman for a lateral.
GS or bust
Laz and roths only real EBs in London
Can think of exits to Carlyle Tech, KKR Credit, CVC, Cinven and Permira for PWP in London
Is this for M&A or RX? For PE exits, both are exactly the same but PJT will give you slightly less options in terms of vanilla PE.
I'd go for PWP, I heard very good things about culture, and they do some nice M&A deals (esp if you're French)
