London to US
I am seriously considering moving to the US to work in NY or Chicago. What would be a good way about doing this. Thought about contacting banks in the UK but would I have to fly out to NY for interviews. Some have told me to contact headhunters in the US.
What are the general qualifications looked for, do they concentrate heavily on which UK university I have attended or will they be more interested in my work experience. Seeing as I have only been here for under a year.
What is it with my threads and no replies. Should I really just post in the monkeying around section and make threads on what I do best

mostly they will concentrate on work experience, why you want to move to the US and which bank you are coming from. does your current bank have offices in NY - might be an easier move internally
