LSE Alternative Investment Conference Application

Hello, I applied to the LSE Alternative Investment Conference Application 2025 in late November/ early December, but I still have no information except the confirmation email. Does anyone know if the invites are already sent or around when they will be?

Based on the most helpful WSO content, the LSE Alternative Investments Conference is a highly regarded event, and the application process can sometimes be used by sponsors for screening purposes. However, there isn't specific information in my knowledge base about the exact timeline for invites for the 2025 conference.

If you haven't received any updates beyond the confirmation email, it might be worth reaching out to the conference organizers directly for clarification. Additionally, you could check with peers or forums where others might share their experiences regarding the timeline.

i assume people sign up so they can mention it on their CV as a point of interest and hopefully to network.

where is it held? why don't they just hire a bigger venue to rip more people off, are they stupid?

or have online tickets. if Harvard can rip people off with their extension school so can LSE conference.

In a swanky hotel in Central London.

No one in their right mind would spent £150 on a "networking" event with a few people from GS and Blackstone when you can watch most of their talks on the internet.

It's ridiculous.

Yes I received the invitation but there is no way I am paying 150 quids for a networking event
