If you have previous M&A experience before...I believe you mean you have had some internships before? MFE is not really relevant to IB, an MSF is. The skills you will learn in an MFE program (I am a math major and I know MFE programs fairly well) are almost completely irrelevant to M&A/IBD. Berkeley's MFE program is top-notch though.
Hi, Yeah I have had a couple of internships in M&A, and was hoping to do MFE as thought be challenging and a good way to get into the US.
Do you think I will be at a disadvantage if I ever applied for IB through MFE ?
Yes. The disadvantage being you’ll not be considered If you want really want to go for MBA
