Yep confirmed Barclays, announced this morning. Going to be co-chief executive of IB

Not sure where he’s headed, but apparently this is a pretty big loss for BofA. He was a strong culture carrier and a legit rainmaker. Sounds like a lot of people at the firm are genuinely sad to see him go.

It’s interesting to see him viewed as important in all these threads. I see the perspective but he wasn’t an investment banker. He was DCM and then COO (where he led the reviled EGRC group) and then became cohead of IBK after never doing coverage. I see it as a big loss for EGRC but not sure about the rest. I think AL activism loss significantly bigger issue but open to other perspectives. She was excellent

This whole debacle is hilarious. Do they now go back and just cut all 100 senior banker heads at EGRC now? That group is like a hydra. One head leaves or gets fired and another cringe wannabe banker there pops up to convince you they are a coverage expert. They also rebranded as regional IB as if that covers the stink.

“DCM isn’t investment banking”

I got roasted for saying that on here a few times
