well thats because a 3rd year analyst is the cream of the crop who proved himself time and time again, while a 1st year analyst is fresh out of a MBA program who has no track record at the company.

 
Kimbo Sliceregardless, you spend 120k on an mba program, you expect to get some roi.
you do..but its not instant...still 200K is a ton of money for pretty much 99.99999% of the population.

What does the average IBanker make at a BB after about 10 years. I dont mean the stars who make millions because i'm sure not all IBankers make that unless your a star but how about the average IBanker whos good enough to continue but not a star?

you probably bring home 1 mil per year easily. 10 years = VP level
 

Wouldn't you be close to MD after 10 years if you start as an associate?

I think the only thing that unites us on this forum or for that matter all the people in Ibanking and Finance is a Penchant for money...So I guess the question isnt appropriate.....
