I’m wondering what exit opps are like from middle markets that focus on smaller deals like Raymond James, Stifel, Truist, Oppenheimer and Cannacord. These banks often recruit from my university. How often can people exit to PE buyout funds from these places?
Anyone work at one of these groups and mind sharing recruiting experiences?

Would not bucket RJ in with the others - some of their groups like Tech and Security and Safety have some fairly strong deal flow and I’d imagine exits more in line with Baird/Blair.
As for the other firms, you should have a decent shot at LMM PE and of course there are always the rare exception who will be able to snag a MM/UMM offer. At the end of the day if you’re a strong candidate it will come through.
Do people at Truist exit to buyside?
