MM TAS to IB

Hi everyone, I'm currently 18 months into FDD at a top-20 UK firm. Working way too many hours for what I'm being paid and was wondering what my chances to break into IB are like. Currently studying financial modelling (FMVA) and went to a target school. I’m hoping to hear from anybody who’s made a similar transition & any tips you might have for me. How doable is this?

Would it require an MBA or should I stick it out and finish the ACA and then consider applying?, any advice is welcome.
