MM vs EB compensation
How does MM IB compensation compare with EB comp? Have MM shops started to pay similar amounts to what many EBs pay?

I would say It’s EB > Top MM > BB in terms of pay.
Will see how bonuses turn out for others, but my total A1 comp, including signing, was ~230 at a top MM
What are the top MMs?
Jefferies, Rothschild, Blair, hw, Baird, houlihan
230 for AN1 just seems ridiculous. Has pay really increased this much?
That’s probably including a $15k-20k signing bonus
doesnt seem that ridiculous... base bumps to 110k, 100% bonuses and 10k singing gets you there. Surely comp will regress some but think higher total comp is here to stay w/ war for talent. I'm guessing MM banks like Blair and Jef that pay will have analyst bonuses of ~80% or so this year, unless your team is ECM
My top MM paid $110 base + 145 bonus last year (+ signing and one time bonuses), which I think is in line with any EB. We shall see if that happens again this year or if we fall back behind
