MS 2021 SA IBD (London) Question
Hi guys,
I had a first round with MS for the 2021 SA IBD position. The thing is, I had it three weeks ago and haven't heard back. The other day they sent out a rejection to one of my friends who did it one week ago. Do you think I would benefit from contacting HR to enquire about the state of my application? What would you do? Do you know of many people already at 2nd round/AC for IBD?

Already had first (about a month ago) and second rounds (3 weeks ago) and also waiting for AC response. Heard that someone from my school got AC
You reckon it makes sense contacting HR? Feels strange to not have been rejected yet if they sent out rejections to people who had first round after mine
Probably waitlisted. My best guess: group 1 (most preferred candidates) are sent to AC / second round, you are next in line when the next batch performs worse than you.
Guess so, contacted them anyway just to make sure, after all it can't negatively impact my application if I contact them nicely
I sent an email to HR and his answer was that they will contact me due to the course
