MS NY Groups with in-house M&A
What are the groups that don’t outsource modeling? I know GPUG, M&C, FIG, and RE…but do any of HC, FSG, Infra, or transpo do modeling in-house?

heard transpo does
.
It’s a grey, every single coverage group does their own modeling to an extent. I’ve never seen M&A take over the model unless the coverage analyst is willing to give it up
Are you on the M&A team?
I too am wondering if you're on the M&A Team.
Modeling is so painful, you need to do v103.xlsx and get grilled nonstop, keep changing the structure and spend endless time tying up the numbers.
Why are people so keen into this? Would rather just ditch all modeling bs and practice 6 hour model at home if passing PE test is the ultimate goal.
Has anyone heard back from MS M&A lateral process? Had a technical interview and model test a few weeks ago, but never heard back even though my interviewer said I did really well
I'm in that process as well. Would be willing to share more privately. I'll PM you if you respond showing your username.
