MSc vs BSc SA bias

Researched the SA class of various banks and noticed that some banks do not recruit MSc students for SA while others are more willing. For instance, Evercore SA class was primarly British UK students while banks like GS and MS had a great proportion of MSc students.

Any working as an analyst that can show insight on this? I.e. if your bank have some kind of bias in SA recruitment for BSc vs MSc students?
