Natwest Markets - Capital Markets

Received an interview for the analyst role in the US. Curious to know more about the group, exit opps, culture, pay. Group seems focused on IG & HY debt. Please advise!

Usually part of a larger (and shitty) syndicate as a “participant lender” or “coordinator”, at least from what I’ve seen in Europe. Can’t imagine it to be too dissimilar in the US but please correct me if I’m wrong.

I used to work there when it was RBS. Business was sold to Mizuho so there isn’t much left since the rebranding. Office is in Stamford and when they owned Citizens you used to be able to use their office in the city. Things have changed significantly and they aren’t competitive. If you want a good WLB with “okay comp” then its a good place to be.
