Nauseous every morning for past 3 years in IB, anyone else?
Assume this will never get fixed and I probably will either just have to quit IB
I am an associate 1, for the past 3 years of being in IB every single morning when I have to go into the office (doesn't happen on weekends) I am just incredibly NAUSEOUS. I feel like I can throw up. I have diarrhea 2-3 times before 10 A.M. Will plan to see a doctor but was wondering if anyone went through something similiar.
Congrats on UBS M&A!
Yeah that is super relevant and funny here for sure. Dude's been reading this forum for months saw this meme before and thought to himself "Ill name drop this meme now they will love it and crack up!!!!"
are you pregnant by any chance?
I am a dude, so no I do not think so
Just because you’re a guy doesn’t mean you can’t try to get pregnant
Are you a trans man?
Definitely visit the doctor, but more than likely it will just be chalked up to stress from work, which is probably the case. Not sure what the doctor would be able to prescribe but hopefully it's a fix, wishing you the best man.
Really appreciate it thanks so much.
Definitely stress. You can try to cut back on coffee or substitute tea, change up diet as well. Ultimately it may only get better as you feel more confident and in control of your role.
Either stress or IBS? But IBS normally causes shits not nausea so much but can interplay with stress.
If it's IBS, you'll notice your stomach gets upset an hour or two after eating.
If you're eating breakfast, a lot of breakfast stuff is a common IBS trigger - lots of gluten or fatty or gassy items
Think it has to be stress. appreciate your comment. Interestingly, I don't even eat breakfast.
IBS effects can hold till the morning too if you have a "triggering" late dinner.
I've heard of stress nausea tbh but not really diarrhea but I'm not a doctor (see a doctor).
Do you take any medication? I found taking my adderall and having a coffee and then not eating breakfast gave me both of these symptoms. If not, I'd most likely chalk it up to anxiety or some problem with your sympathetic nervous system. Definitely see a doctor
It’s anxiety
welcome to adult life. It only gets worse from here!
Congrats on IBS!
But in all seriousness it’s probably IBS, or could also be an issue with your gut microbiome. Stress and high amounts of coffee + medication will shred your gut, and can cause a whole laundry list of issues. Look into probiotics, maybe multi vitamins, and try to audit your diet.
You could be eating something that you’re allergic to/don’t tolerate well.
Do you smoke weed? Could be CHS if so
Good shout - I actually smoke daily and have been for years and years. I am a heavy user. However, on weekends or if I have a day off (PTO, etc) then there will be 100% no nausea at all. Only on workdays and especially on workdays I have tough deliverables. Do you personally think this just means it HAS to be stress and anxiety? Will still console a doctor.
Used to have this frequently. Carnivore diet. Dont care if u think its weird. Dr Anthony chaffee on YT
