Need help deciding internship accomodation (London)

The options I've managed to find are:

Ensuite in student accom for 370pw with a 30 min tube commute/30 mins by car

Studio in student accom for 470pw with an 18 min commute/15 mins by car.

I have a v high intern salary but I don't like the idea of wasting money and feel these are expensive but they're the only reasonable ones I could find which fit my internship dates and have a reasonable commute. I also don't want to risk airbnbs/spare rooms incase the people i live with aren't good. However I also want to make sure I optimise performance for getting a return offer as that's obviously the main goal and will lead to far more money in longer term.

Any thoughts are appreciated thanks
