Need help on PC as incoming analyst
hey guys,
incoming at BB coverage. I've been using a shitty laptop throughout the past couple years of college and want to upgrade to a PC for a 3 monitor setup for full time as WFH seems like it's gonna be a bigger part. I was going through pc part picker and choosing some stuff as I know I don't need a crazy pc for work and minimal games. it came out to be a tad bit less than $1,000 (i already have all the peripherals). BUT if WFH is done on a virtual machine, does it even matter what kind of computer I get? wouldnt the RAM, CPU and other things be matched down to whatever the VM has to offer? So therefore is it even worth it to buy any semblance of a decent PC? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!
