Networking call with a very senior MD
I have a networking call with a very senior MD coming up. My goal is to land an internship at his firm. Usually, when I have networking calls, they are with analysts and they are very informal where we talk about everyday analyst stuff. However, in this case, I feel that I can't ask such questions as the MD has not been an analyst for over 20 years and it would be wasting his time as I could just ask an analyst these questions. What type of questions/talking points would be reasonable to bring up in the networking session?
