Nomura IB CFS London Teams + Comp
got an SA offer for Nomura IB CFS (cap markets) and want to know more about their strongest teams and comp.
i understand from @Pan European Monkey" 's great post (https://www.wallstreetoasis.com/forums/20-most-fr…) that LevFin is a strength -- i'm aiming for that and expressed + was assessed on it during my interviews -- are there any other particularly strong teams (in regards to dealflow + exits)?
i know their base salary is above-market, but how do their bonuses / all-in compare to other banks?
AFAIK, base is not above market, but the same as many other banks (50K/year) unless they changed it recently
i think it is above market because my SA comp is higher than my friends’ who will be at BBs. But yea maybe that is not transferable to FT
LevFin is probably the strongest. However, the Structured Finance team has a solid rep, and culture is supposed to be good as well.
In terms of comp, their base is in line with market (GBP 50K) with bonuses kind of spread across the range

Even if base was above market doubt bonuses are even in line with the average BB.
Would really recommend going for their LevFin team if you can - quite a few move to solid BBs from there.
i see, was hoping all-in would be nice as well.
