Non-IB Related Internship as an Upcoming Junior
I am currently doing an IB summer internship at a no-name shop and have been applying for internship roles for the fall term as an upcoming junior. I was recently offered a non-IB internship related to trading operations and handling mutual fund transactions/accounts (8 months long). I wanted to know how feasible this opportunity would be for someone wanting to go into IB. *In Canada if that helps.
8 months is really long. Given you already have an IB internship, I don't think this adds much to your resume. I would focus on junior summer internships instead btw
