Not Knowing What You Want

Hi All,

First year IB analyst here with a lot of time to think/reflect during this turbulent time. I wanted to reach out to the community and hear peoples' thoughts. Currently I am content with life, but want something more. Whether it be moving to a new city, job, anything - I haven't really experienced the world and have aspirations of traveling to many different places. However, obviously that isn't very feasible given work restraints and financial obligations. Further, I have many passions outside of finance that I would really like to pursue (fashion, culture, etc.) but have zero idea on how to go about pursuing these interests. On top of all of this i would consider myself a fairly materialistic person and want to be very ~financially~ successful in the future. It seems as if all of these things go head to head to the point of a zero-sum game.

I'm sure other people on this forum have experienced some existential crisis like this at one point or another and I would love to hear peoples' thoughts. Any advice, shared experiences, or whatever would be greatly appreciated.
