Nova SBE MSc Finance
Hi,
What are your guys thoughts on the MSc Finance at Nova in Lisbon? I’ve been accepted to a target MSc in London but cannot afford the £50k fees.
However, the MSc Finance at Nova SBE in Lisbon caught my eye. It’s a fraction of the price (c. €10k) the idea of living in the sun sounds great. The programme is also 1.5 years which I believe means I have two shots at internship recruitment.
I have a decent profile, with 1+ year of boutique IB and PE experience. My plan is to work in London and I don’t require sponsorship.
mate I wouldn't recommend doing that tbh
people from more target European schools (think HEC, Bocconi) have a hard time breaking in. do you have any financing / scholarship options?
Agreed. Wouldn’t recommend going to nova, not a target for MSc Finance
No scholarships unfortunately. I’d have to take a €70k loan for a UK masters which I am quite reluctant to do
understood. well, I suggest you try figuring this out even if it seems hard for you.
believe me going the road you've described will be much harder (nearly impossible in my view) and eventually gonna cost you more.
good luck!
There's always a reason something is cheaper than others.
