Optimal Excel Options / Settings?
What are the optimal excel settings / options when setting up a fresh computer?
Some standard ones:
- Ensure Iterative Calculations are set to "Automatic except for data tables" & Maximum Iterations set to 100 (Should be default) [<Formulas]
- Turn off "Allow editing directly in cells" [<Advanced]
- This will allow you to edit in the formula bar for more complex / long equations
- Set default font and size to Arial 10 (Optional) [<General]
- Quick Access Toolbar
- Font Size
- Font Color
- Fill Color
- Borders
- More Borders...
- Size and Properties
