Personal laptop in London/UK IBD SA?
Would you need to have a personal computer to do your work? Or is it routinely a computer provided by the firm? Does the option differ between BBs, or BBs as opposed to MMs/EBs?

My computer is spoilt & might be a bit expensive to repair. Hence the WSO post
You might get a laptop but depends on the firm. It'll probably be some sort of ThinkPad - it's nothing to write home about but will get the job done. You'll probably still want to invest in a keyboard + monitor + mouse at a minimum, however.
