£78k base as An1 is quite high in London isn’t it? Seems like the TC would be balanced by lower bonuses

Yeah their base is one of the highest in the city. I can’t comment on bonuses but my friend who’s there (not healthcare) says comp is very good which I assume means the bonuses are decent as well

Base £78k is valid, bonus vary widely depending on the team e.g. chemicals (they acquired one of if not THE best boutique in the space) can hit 100%+ bonuses while consumer would be more around 40% (mostly £200m deals but trying to go for bigger ones)

Deal flow is solid, but it's extremely sweaty. New MD that recently moved over to head up UK office is young, unproven and desperate to make his own mark. Going to be a shit load of pitching, lots of small deals, tons of ideabooks for sponsors and strategic.

It's a very active group, and the next few years should be extra busy after it had a ton of deals fall through in 2024. Many of those will come back.
