Depends which team and what location you are working out of, but Piper has a very solid public finance team, and would say out of the MMs they have one of the stronger practices. I can be wrong, but I believe base is same as normal IB, but bonuses will not be as large. DM me if you got any questions about the firm as I used to work at Piper.

can confirm piper doesn't even pay close to the same base as normal IB. probably starting first years out around $60-65k depending on location. They have a good overall practice, but a lot of variability in groups profitability. And if you work for one of the weaker groups, you will not get paid even as a junior. They used to have a strong senior living practice but diesn't look like it anymore. Their special districts group makes bank for public finance. Culture is good, they generally don't have assholes.
