What are the common exit opportunities available to post-MBA IB associates? Does the 2-year period still apply? Bonus points for average pay for these exits! Thanks!

Corp dev/Strat - sr manager $150-200k total comp, director $180-275k total comp (wide range and industry dependent)
Strategic finance / fp&a - fp&a probably a little less than above. Strategic finance for a pe port co or tech company might be equal to higher including equity.
LMM or maybe MM PE - comp could be all over the map. Probably $175-300ish?

Exit opps are going to be pretty varied but largely aligned with finance skill set (obviously). Keep in mind these roles are going to be need based which leads to one-off processes (rather than an annual classes) so you kind of need to be on your toes / looking / networking once you’re thinking about leaving.
Comp is going to be all over the place because it depends on where you land. Again, you’re moving off of a “set path” so it’s going to vary firm to firm
