Prefer 3 years in IB as Analyst or Associate?
Can be either in London or USa. Social life aside, which one do you thinks offers a more superior experience? Do you learn more skills (soft and hard) during your 3 years in IB as an analyst or as an post mba associate straight out of bschool?
I recently got into a debate with a friend and since I did 3 years as analyst, my opinion is biased. Hoping WSO can settle this
Nothing like being in the trenches for three years. I don't know a 1st year A-A who can't do a senior MBA associates job just as well, if not better. Hopefully that clears things up...
Yes I know but the question is do you learn more in your 3 years as a post mba Associate in IB than you would if you spent 3 years just an analyst and left the industry after that?
