I did my internship at JPM in London but am much more interested in joining a pure-play tech boutique for FT. Qatalyst is obviously top notch when it comes to tech but I haven't been able to find much info on their London office given it's quite small. Would really appreciate any insight on culture, recruiting, comp, hours and exit opportunities.

Qatalyst in London is a no-name, lower middle market bank that has nowhere near the standing of even some middle-market bank like Jefferies. On top of that they are an absolute sweatshop run by slave drivers who fire people on a quarterly basis.
Qatalyst has no deal flow in EMEA.
2 cycles ago they posted their SA app on Sainoo. They used to make you take a corporate finance test but now I think they do numerical reasoning. I was invited to the first round phone interview with Wiser, but at that time I already had an offer so I passed on that.
