Question on analyzing League Tables

I've been looking at the Thomson Reuters league tables as I prepare for group placement for next summer. I was wondering if I should filter Worldwide deals or use U.S. only deals? For context, I'll be in the NYC office of a BB

I assume people at BBs work on worldwide deals, even if HQ'ed in NYC since many people refer to their group as "Global X group" on LinkedIn. But I also know there are EMEA and LatAm groups for specific regions around the world. Would appreciate some clarification.
