I heard that PU&I is strong and has more deal history than other industry groups. DCM is growing as per RBC's financing capabilities. PE placement is probably not very high considering the competition in London and RBC brand is not a strong as in in the US/Canada but with heavy networking you can still go through unconventional / offcycle path.
Head of PUI moved to jefferies. Strong in Industrials, HC and business services. Best bet for PE is to move after a year to a BB/EB and recruit from there.
I think that was more than a year ago, can confirm that the group is still strong
