REIB - Is it looking rough?
For context, I'll be starting my summer analyst role at a US BB in their Real Estate coverage group (London). Looking at the threads around different banks laying off juniors, I'm concerned about my chances of conversion (Jan 24/July 24). So, for those covering Real Estate in London, has the activity started to pick up a little bit? If it hasn't, are there any signs that it will get better towards the end of this year? Are you expecting any major mandates coming your way over the next few months? Keen to hear everyone's thoughts on it. Thanks in advance!
