Reneging on BB

Was a 2022 SA at a BB. Following the internship, I received and accepted the return offer for full time. However, since then, I'm not sure if this is something that I can really see myself being interested in and doing.

Question is: If I renege on the full-time BB offer for something else, would the BB try to screw me over or would they likely not care that much.

Looking for some advice and opinions on this as I know this is quite an important decision and step in my professional career.

Reneging is overrated. Nobody's going after you, that would be retaliation. Just be respectful and give some BS excuse.

They won't care, especially if you tell them your interests better align with other opportunities outside of banking.
