Rothschild vs Lazard Consumer (London)
Can anyone provide info on the Rothschild/Lazard consumer teams? Dealflow, culture/hours etc. How do they compare with the BofA/JPM consumer teams?

Both are great, I'd lean towards Laz for larger deals and optionality to lateral from experience. I'd look into MDs your be working for and type of deals they gain.

Rothschild Consumer is one of the strongest teams on the street. They do work for Coca Cola and other huge clients. Would say GS and Roths are the two best consumer teams in Europe.
Roths consumer is THE top consumer team in London in deal-flow - N1 Globally and in Europe for volume every year for the last 5 years
However, it is really sweaty...
How is the UMM+ deal flow outside of retail?
Also interested to get a sense of how sweaty/what the hours are like.
It's public knowledge that they have top clients
In terms of large recent publicly announced deals look at Sale of Asda, Sale of Morrisons, Asahi acquisition of Carlton etc... - all large cap frontpage deals, I'm not listing all of them but you can see its defo not MM
I can't help you with that but its very sweaty, I would advise speak to someone in the team who has recently left through LinkedIn
