SocGen vs Arma Partners
Hi everyone,
I will start an IBD internship in September and I have to decide between SocGen (Industrials, Paris) and Arma Partners (Tech, London).
My goal is to eventually join a BB in London. I am attracted to the TMT sector but I don't place significant value in working in that field in the long-term. I was thus wondering if you had any opinion on the exit opportunities, brand name etc of those two banks and if one was a better pick than the other.

Arma in my opinion. You see a lot of people moving to BBs from there. Note that you’ll work super hard though.
Agree with this. Also Soc Gen has a though old European culture, so would stay away from it

Arma are very well known in software space -- you'll easily lateral to a TMT team at a top BB
