S&P 50 FP&A intern —> S&T or CB SA?

Hi all,

I am starting a Finance Decision Support Analyst Role this summer for 1 year. I finish my contract in June and it will be my penultimate year summer.

I am seeking advice on what I can take from this experience to prepare me for a SA in S&T or CB. I am interested in DCM, Corporate Banking and Commercial Lending. What Summer Programs could be the best bet?

I will be applying to SA programs in London and will be doing applications at my time on the placement.

The company is in the Healthcare Sector so I’d like to apply for a program which plays into this if possible, I’ve seen an Off Cycle Internship at Jefferies specifically for IBD healthcare etc. I attend a non/semi target UK university.

Any tips appreciated. Thanks.
