Summer 2024 tips

I’ll cut to the chase. I’m a law student at a top uni with a summer internship offer at a UK boutique. 

I’ve been told there will be limited onboarding.

I read the FT and did Bloomberg market concepts, so I know the basics of finance. But in my degree I write essays, I’ve not touched excel or powerpoint since school. 

Which courses would you recommend to get match-fit for the summer? What work I’ll be doing is unclear, informally it was framed as being sat with the analysts and tackling whatever comes in.
