Had a friend who went through DB global markets training in london this year. He was in london from Jul till late Aug.
was the training for a front office position?

He is in global markets (commodities trading), as an oil trader.
Was told that our 1st year analyst bonus will not be based on individual performance since we will have 3 rotations, i.e. all 1st years in Global Markets will get the same bonus. So, what to expect? 50% of base?
For DB trading, I know a friend that recently got 60+10 and then 15 at year-end. The 15k might seem low but remember that it's only for less than half a year's work.

All bonuses are paid out once a year in July at the analyst level. This applies to both S&T and IBD. How is it possible that your friend received a bonus of 15k in Dec?
Assuming he joined the 06' analyst class in Jul this year, he should be getting his full-year bonus in Jul 2007.
