For those who have decided to stay on in IB and made the move to transfer from NYC to abroad, how did that experience go? I know a lot of BBs offer this opportunity to analysts after their 2nd year or so and was wondering if (i) this is common and (ii) is this a good experience / mobility back to NYC if you so choose? Would appreciate some insight!
