UBS rolling out Enhanced Clean Desk Policy, bans deal toys

As part of UBS’s ongoing commitment to maintaining a professional, organized, and client-ready work environment, all employees are expected to keep their workspaces free of unnecessary personal items and visual clutter.

The following items should not be displayed on desks or workstation surfaces:

  • Collectible figurines, novelty items, or memorabilia
  • Excessive personal photographs
  • Non-business books and magazines
  • Transaction Commemorative Displays
  • Food containers not in active use
  • Unused office supplies and miscellaneous desk accessories
  • Printed materials not related to active business needs

Personal belongings should be stored in designated drawers or cabinets whenever possible. Managers may periodically review workspaces to ensure compliance with these standards.

A clean and consistent workplace reinforces our commitment to professionalism, supports a positive client experience, and contributes to a more organized and productive environment.

Thank you for your cooperation in maintaining UBS’s professional workplace standards.

Absolutely hated my time in UBS IB but can we please stop making these shitpost threads each week? Let’s save the yapping for shit that matters

Sounds like they have to police it because they are weird af with what they have on their desk

Shitposters, keep it going they are stating to talk these at staff meetings

Do I have to turn in my UBS deal toy from my days as an analyst there?
