UK First-Year Grade - does it matter?

Hi guys - currently in first year and I am struggling a bit academically. If I work hard I think I may be able to achieve a low 2.1 ie. 60-65%. Is this fine for applying to summer internships? If it is a problem, how should I present it on my CV? (I go to a semi-target if that matters.) Any help would be much appreciated.

You can put on your CV expected 2:1 or a 1:1, noone really looks into it as long as you graduate with atleast a 2:1.
