UK recruitment system.

Is a fucking joke. Upload all these documents and then answer some pathetic questions, only to do psychometric tests. If you fail them, it's an automatic ding.

What a pathetic system. I really wish I'd gone to College in the U.S.

the US is no better, its all about connection and social skill. You will be applying to jobs online and having people from richer families and better schools getting the offers. Face it, if you have to apply to stuff online (outside of your schools ocr website), you have very little chance of making banking, whether it be in the US or UK.

How is the US any different? You apply online and have to upload a cover letter (some cuntass banks like barclays capital actually makes you answer some "pathetic questions" on their web application as well).

No-one cares about your answers to the online questions and no-one (except maybe certain boutiques) cares about your cover letter.

If you can't pass a multiple choice arithmetic/ verbal reasoning test, then you're stupid. Plain stupid.

Thats not correct. The UK system is annoying but fair. Obviously there are targets but everybody with a decent CV stands a shot in case he nails the online tests. If you fail the online tests there is no way you can handle the AC.

I preferred being in the UK than the US where its only the school name and career service that gets you interviews.
