UK Visa Delay
Apparently, my EU citizen visa will be delayed (early-start BB Analyst).
Am I the only one who still doesn't know when exactly it's gonna be ready?

If you're talking about the skilled worker visa then it should take max 3 weeks (according to the home office website)
Correct, but I'm not handling that myself. Got me a bit worried now!
Hey, just out of curiosity, did you finally get it? If yes, how long did it take?
Thanks
No haha! Still working from my home country. Better either way as London is not attractive rn
Still nothing? Do you know what's causing the delay by any chance? Also did you do summer Analyst in London as well? Might end up in a similar situation so would appreciate any insight!
So I assume while you are WFH from Europe you don´t need the visa sponsorship despite your job being based in UK... Am I right?
You get an exemption :)
Bump - curious about this too as I will also have to go through this process soon. What is the current timeline for the skilled-worker visas? As someone mentioned above I thought you were supposed to get it in like 3 weeks max? Would applying via the priority application help?
Sorry for being meta, I shall have to go thru the process soon as I just got an offer.Any updates on how long it takes/ took you?

Hey could anyone give some color on LTM apply-to-approval skilled worker visa timeline, thanks
Very punctual, I've heard of multiple recent applications resolved well within three weeks.
Awesome, thanks a lot
Follow-up question to "hijack" the thread: I'm incoming summer intern to a London bank and the Home Office website said something about Nigerian skilled worker visa application (Tier 2 I think) needing Tuberculosis (TB) testing if the work duration is up to 6 months. But since it's just a summer internship of 10 weeks, I think the TB testing won't be neccesary; however, the law firm advising on the visa advises that I do it to avoid delays nonetheless. My problem is that the test is a bit expensive & my pre-internship financial situation is a bit bleak.
Does anyone think skipping the test would be a problem since it's not applicable to my summer work duration?
That is very specific. What about asking the bank to sponsor your testing?
