I'm a US citizen applying for undergrad unis. My parents want me to study in the UK for personal reasons. I know the chances of acceptance are extremely slim but which unis should I apply to that are target for IB? And would it be more difficult for me to return to the US once I'm done studying to get a job at a bank?

If you are 100% going back to the US try the top tiers,as they are probably the only ones recruiters in the US will be familiar with e.g. Oxbridge,LSE,Imperial,UCL..However, chances to get an IB internship in the City are also very good if you go to Warwick,Bath,Bristol,Durham or King's.
