Using Annual Leave during internship
I recently secured an investment banking internship in London, with 4 days of annual leaves stated in my contract.
I will need to use all of them during the final week of internship for my deferred final exam (as I fell sick during final exam period, so have to defer). The internship does not have any conversion opportunity but I want a reference letter from my manager for master application.
Would this leave a bad impression to my manager? Should I discuss with the HR about shortening my internship period for one week so that I do not need to use the annual leave?
If it doesnt have an opportunity to convert, I wouldn't worry too much. As long as you do a good job during the internship and build a relationship with your manager then you should be fine
