I had near perfect vision which deteriorated fairly rapidly when I was banking. Once I got out of banking, I had laser eye surgery and I highly recommend it...but don't get the OLD Lasik, get the new one called ClearView. They did the old lasik on my left eye (weren't approved to do it becasue i had an astigmatism and was slightly farsighted on one of the axes) and Clearview on my right. I'm now 20/20 in my left and 20/15 in my right (eagle eye). I now use one of those glare screens which are also great because if people are coming at you from the side they can't see what is on your screen. If you get the glare shield AND are a pro at Alt-Tabbing, you should never have a problem of someone catching you reading Bill Simmons on ESPN.com.

I went from 20/15 when I started to having 20/25 and needing contacts. Really annoying. The worst part is that it is just bad enough to need correction but not bad enough to really get lasik.
