Wells Fargo Platform

Thinking of lateraling over to the NY Real Estate IB team.
I know a senior at my bank that lateraled over to the team over a year ago but really can't find much information out there. I know WF has a solid Real Estate IB division so I should be good there.

However, how is the overall platform? IB growth? In general, how is the bank performing and what are some of the long term potentials? Seeing that there is stock compensation, I am curious about the overall WF platform. REGAL insights is a plus if anyone has insight.

Isn't Wells Fargo's REGAL group out of DC? This is just me parroting what I've heard others say, not a first-person account, but I think REGAL is broadly known as WF's top group. Think JPM, BofA and WF are top of street for that industry.

Wells is out of NYC and DC for REGAL I'm pretty sure. Not sure about comp, culture, if anyone can shine some light on that. Seem to be very well-recognized and have good deal flow. Probably Wells' best group and top 3 for REGAL on the street
