went from IB to corporate…wtf is it normal for workplaces to not be toxic?

After 2+ years of banking, I went to a F500 corpdev role for the past few months.

I’m shocked because I didn’t realizes its normal for coworkers and your bosses to not be completely insufferable. They’re actually tolerable and reasonable people???

I got so used to IB that I thought all bosses in general were just unappreciative dickheads. Now I’m realizing it’s just 1000% times more common a banking. Just a PSA to all that might’ve forgotten, dickish banking culture isn’t the norm
