What can I do besides Spring Weeks to set me up well for IB?
I'm a US Citizen studying at UCL. Since Spring Weeks is kind of a hit or miss I'm wondering what I can do to set me up well for an internship or something else. I've been applying to US CF internships, but haven't gotten anything positive from any of them. I really want to add something good to my resume, and maybe something I can go back to if IB doesn't work out.
So, what can I do?

Random VC/CF/M&A/PE shops do hire some interns as a first year summer. Join finance societies to get a good position, join sports clubs to have cool ECs to talk about
