I'm curious - supposing someone was an SA at a BB and didn't get a return offer, what's typically the next step assuming said person still wanted to eventually secure an FT IBD position?
Without giving details away, was at top BB SA (GS/MS/JPM), went to FT recruiting, only had one final round despite a lot of networking and cold calling. Next steps is do another SA elsewhere, or go into industry and start there instead.
